Hello, and welcome to English Your Way! My name is Veronica, and I’m a certified multiple-subjects educator in the Detroit area. In 2007, I earned my certification from California State University, Monterey Bay and have been teaching English to nonnative speakers ever since then. Learning for Everyone Since then, I’ve worked with a wide range of students — everyone from elementary schoolchildren to international professionals to immigrant mothers. And working with such diverse learners, I’ve learned quite a bit myself! My big takeaway: effective learning is one of the most crucial elements to successful learning. “Work smarter, not harder,” as they say.
